Second this! Would love a way to toggle between "Normal", "MEDvram", and "LOWvram", as we might not have access to the .bat file or terminal to change the flags. Another idea: extension (or built in feature) that allows SD to automatically switch between modes based on how much memory is needed for current generation? |

In ComfyUI it's possible and even automatic so I guess the answer is yes? |

Currently, we are only able to change these parameters by command line but as QoL feature, would it be possible to make them into checkbox in WebUI? (like Tiling or Restore faces)
For example, the typical usecase would be generating normal size images quickly as preview with those optimalizations turned off and then switching to hiresfix and checking slower Low VRAM option to prevent out of memory or driver errors. Alternatively there could be an option "Always use medvram/lowram for Hiresfix" somewhere in the settings but this is probably easier to implement and it would also account for future memory heavy features.
Or is this already possible in some way right now?
I mean, for people with lower amount of VRAM (4-8GB) this would be godsend as they wouldn't have to restart whole thing and I bet it could be also useful for ControlNET or training.
