As the title says they both work only in the open ore GUI but not in macos itself.

I'm using the sequoia EFI.

ThinkPad T480
i5 8350U
16 GB RAM
512 SSD

I have the same issue. Everything works fine in Opencore but the cursor freezes when the Apple installer kicks in. It’s frustrating that I don’t know enough to solve this problem myself. After 2 days of troubleshooting, I had to give up.

I had this issue as well but managed to solve everything. What version of MacOS are you both running?

I think this might be the issue but I cannot be for sure what you have inside your EFI. Read my post here and see if it does not solve your issue. valnoxy#170
