We would like to have a Canva pro account for creating assets. We believe that we should be eligible for a free pro account as a community organisation according to number 2. of this eligibility list

Timeline

  • first applied for account Feb 11th
  • rejected Feb 11th

Hi Berlin PyLadies,
Thanks for applying for Canva for Nonprofits.Unfortunately, you didn't meet our eligibility requirements. Because of that, your application had to be rejected. Check the required documents list to make sure you didn't miss any. What's next?

You've still got access to Canva Free. If you think we've made a mistake, please contact us and let us know why.

Dear Canva Team,

Thank you for considering our application for Canva for Nonprofits. While we are disappointed to learn that we did not meet the eligibility requirements, we appreciate the opportunity to apply and have access to Canva Free.

According to the eligibility list provided, our organization, PyLadies Berlin, matches number 2, which includes social impact organizations with a mission consistent with a public or community benefit. We believe that our mission (public on our website https://pyladies.com/) aligns with this criteria, and how all our activities are focused on achieving it.

We would appreciate it if you could provide us with further information on why our application did not meet the eligibility requirements. If there is any additional documentation that we need to provide (though please note as a non registered community led organisation we do not have formal evidence of such status), please let us know, and we will be happy to submit it.

Thank you for your time and consideration. We look forward to hearing back from you.

Best regards,

Jessica

Phylis Dobbs From PSF will look into an account for PyLadies after PyCon happens in April.

TODO follow up in May if we don't hear anything. Hopefully until then what we have as the free account is enough :)
