Quick summary

Browsing through the menus of the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection can freeze emulation. Attempting to rescue this state from the UI leads to a segfault.

Details

  • Metal Gear Solid HD Collection BLUS30847 4.40
    • Select and Launch Peace Walkers
    • Proceed into the main menu
    • Choose "Return to Game Select"
    • The emulation may freeze with Dead FIFO commands queue state has been detected!
    • When this happens, hit Emulation > Stop.
    • Segfault

This reproduces about 50% of the time. It is not impacting me directly, but it's very reproducible so I thought the team might like a chance to look at it. I can probably get a dev env set up to grab dumps if that helps.
