No Audio In Linux

Description

I have no audio since 7.36, and under Audio->Sound Device I only have "Sound Disabled"

Other applications have audio, discord for example, and the microphone is also correctly recognized.

I play on linux.

Same on Manjaro linux. Sound disabled, found references on older threads mentioning that specifying an audio driver may work as a temporary fix. Install pipewire (if not installed already :), and add

-sdlaudiodriver pipewire

to launch options. Greets!

Does not work for me, it might work if I route pulseaudio through pipewire instead but I haven't tried that

Just checked on a different report for this same symptom:

ValveSoftware/Dota-2#2707 (comment)

it suggests

-sdlaudiodriver pulse

as a solution. Hope that helps (I played a match without sound. It was awful).

This is a duplicate ValveSoftware/Dota-2#2707 and can be closed. We're tracking the issue over there.
