Selecting Charts in Variant Navigator doesn't show a chart #345

Right after logging in, go to Variant Navigator, and click "Charts". You will see a spinner and a message "Getting Chart Data", that never changes to the actual chart.
Re-selecting a chart displays it.
The chart should either be displayed immediately, or a message should be shown displaying a chart.
