dbt-labs provides these schemas for validating the project's yaml files. These are very useful however don't support adapter specific configuration such as Databricks custom configuration.
It would make sense for sufficiently mature adapters such as dbt-databricks to provide a fork of this that satisfies that yaml files that can be created for dbt-databricks projects

@benc-db any chance dbt-databricks will provide its own validation schema for project's yamls? If not, would it be possible to add dbt-databricks specific fields to the dbt-core validation as suggested here
I am unfamiliar with this feature, so I would welcome a PR if you have any interest in tackling it. Otherwise, I don't think it will be a priority for a while.
