The end-of-life for .NET container images for .NET Monitor 8.0 was announced in 8.0.X End of Support On May 11, 2025. Per the announcement, the .NET Monitor 8.0 version was no longer supported on May 11, 2025. Per the .NET tag lifecycle policy, the images will no longer be maintained starting on May 11, 2025.

.NET Monitor image tags starting with
8.0
will no longer be produced. We will not delete existing images of those tags; however, they now contain unsupported builds of .NET Monitor.If you are using one of the .NET Monitor
8.0
tags, we strongly recommend that you upgrade to use a8.1
tag such as8.1-azurelinux-distroless
. Alternatively, you can use a major-version floating tag such as8-azurelinux-distroless
or8
. By using a floating tag, you will always be using the latest version of .NET Monitor.The following Docker repos have been updated:
