Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
Daikin has developed a “homehub” to make a modbus integration with their heat pumps (for instance the daikin altherma 3).

Describe the solution you'd like
Integration with modbus is a more reliable and advanced way to integrate instead of the SG contacts. This way you can modulate the consumed power and get information back from the device. The modbus protocol and prameters are well described by Daikin and other solutions like Loxone are already capable.

Describe alternatives you've considered
Using SG relay contacts

If you have the register description you can build a tempalte. Note this is nothing the core team will be working on.

EKRHH_Installer reference guide_4PEN744838-1D_English.pdf

Correct. I think the way it should be done is using the SG indicator (register 56) and setting the power limit (register 57). I think the rest of the parameters should be left as-is. The home owner should use the Daikin user interface to set the rest of the parameters (f.i. permission to use the heater element, room buffering y/n, comfort temp limit).

And for return back to evcc it would be useful to have the actual room temp (50), boiler temp (43), and the power usage (51). And the errors for logging (22).

Edit: added the English version of the document, chapter 9 is the scenario that is relevant in this matter.
