Yes, please add this feature. There are very few free softwares that can cut 120 FPS and 240 FPS videos without downgrading them to 60 FPS which actually sucks. Those that don't do so have terrible UI. If you added a good trim setting, this would be a life saver for real. Would be cool if you added a window that showed which part you cut, but unnecessary, because we can check them in our videos anyways. |
Plus, if you added that, there would be no need in additional programs for trimming vids, which is also a great thing for me personally. |
This would be a really useful feature, since i keep cutting, trimming, and re-encode the clip using handbrake before blurring it. Anyway, is there a way to donate you ? Like a "buy me a coffee" or "ko-fi". I'd love to give you something in return. |
I usually use 'Boilsoft Video Splitter' for lossless editing, very fast and very elegant |

Something like lossless-cut or mpv-lossless-cut (SHAMELESS PLUG) where you can trim a video before blurring it. Undecided on whether this is a good idea to integrate or if I should leave it out and let specialised tools do that job.
I like being able to drag in clips and have them start rendering immediately, having this would require an extra click at least. And I also typically cut clips beforehand anyway and want to preserve a non-blurred copy so personally I doubt I'd use it. Could make it an option to enable/disable the feature entirely?
As for how hard this would be to add - video playback would be tricky but I could probably get it working, the actual trimming part is super easy though.
If you think you'd use this feel free to react, I'll use that to gauge interest.
