Several people, including me, are having a problem with the AUR package: https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/hfstospell

I confirm the problem remains with release 0.5.0.

I know it's not your responsibility, but I thought I'd be so bold to use your issue tracker as a support forum.

Any ideas?
