Loxilb use case query

Hi,
I run a talos Kubernetes cluster on vmware. 3 control plane nodes and 3 worker nodes.

I have implemented the NGrok operator with gateway API but I was wondering is there still a reason I would implement loxilb in external mode?

Hi @GurdipS5

I can't comment much on NGrok because frankly I am not aware of it. However, if there is a use-case where you think loxilb's functionality is required, running it in external or in-cluster mode basically revolves around the following -

1. Whether you want Kubernetes to do life-cycle management of loxilb including auto-scaling.
2. Whether you see LB as an external entity and not interfere in K8s internal ops directly.
3. Running incluster LB can increase overall performance.
4. LoxiLB provides anycast support with connection sync in external mode which is beneficial for many users.
