problems with installation of obs server

Hi everyone,

I'm feeling quite confused because I'm not very comfortable with Linux servers. As a result, I'm encountering several issues while installing the Obs Server.

Although I followed all the steps in the documentation to install the required modules and dependencies, and even though the Imagick module appears as installed in the phpinfo() details, the system check still indicates that this module is missing.

I'm unsure where to place the media and thumbnails directories. Initially, I placed them in /var/www/html/obsserver, but I keep getting a "non-writable" error, even after modifying the permissions.

I would really appreciate some guidance.

Hello everybody,

I've finally succeeded installing observer and it apparently works nicely. but I've some other questions :

1. do we have to install obplayer as a desktop app or as a web app (like ob server) ? the documentation is not so clear about that point
2. My friend wants to set up both a video schedule and live broadcasts at certain times. is it possible with ob server ?
3. I don't understand the way how ob server and ob player interact. can someone explain it to me ?
