Regarding OpenVINO Messenger AI-Assistant for an AI PC

I’m excited about the OpenVINO Messenger AI-Assistant project. I’ve been working with Python and have experience in API integrations and UI development (with Qt/PyQt). The idea of leveraging OpenVINO and RAG to extract and process messages for useful daily insights really resonates with me. I’m keen to learn more about the expected workflow—especially how you envision handling message retrieval and integrating the private data with a local LLM.

Could you share more details on the API integration and any UI preferences? I’m eager to understand your vision better and discuss how my background can contribute effectively to this project.

Hi @vijayabhaskar78 , sorry for the late response.
For UI QT/PyQT is fine. Important is, that the final App will be available in form of desktop application.
For RAG part you can refer to this OpenVINO notebook

I recommend to install it on a PC and try to run in order to understand how messages can be processed
