To be clear, I'm not asking about Icon Folder compatibility. I can see from closed issues that Icon Folder would have to add QE compatibility, not the other way around. I'm imagining moreso adding the SVG icons via CSS or something of that nature.
It looks like, from perusing the issues in this repository, this should be possible, but I couldn't quite figure out from the paper trail what the CSS would need to consist of.
Issue #14 shows how to do emojis; presumably with appropriate svg icons encoded as base64 data: urls, you should be able to change the content: from "some-emoji" to url(data...). But I'm not an expert on that. You might take the examples from #14 and whatever you come up with, and ask for help on the discord appearance channel(s).
I'm sure the answer to this is yes.
Is there a way to get SVG icons - like the ones used by the Icon Folder Plugin - to appear in front of folders in the QE interface?
It's gotten to where QE is more useful/intuitive to me than the native file explorer, but I do miss seeing my icons in front of the folders.
