My problem is that what I am trying to capture is in this format:

FROM opensearchproject/opensearch-dashboards:2.15.0@sha256:b7c26c60bfafcbb90c538316570b84bab85f5dc82339aa7feefc3014274c689e

...

RUN /usr/share/opensearch-dashboards/bin/opensearch-dashboards-plugin install https://github.com/fbaligand/kibana-enhanced-table/releases/download/v1.14.0/enhanced-table-1.14.0_osd-2.15.0.zip

And as you can see each release consists of 2 parts:

• Version of the plugin itself -> 1.14.0
• Version of OpenSearch Dashboards -> 2.15

That is, version 1.14.0 works with several versions of OpenSearch Dashboards (2.13, 2.14, 2.15...):

https://github.com/fbaligand/kibana-enhanced-table/releases/tag/v1.14.0

That is why I find it complex to solve this case without being able to use the groups captured by me.

Without this functionality it is impossible to do what I want, isn't it?

I'm having a very similar problem... Would be really helpful to get an answer on this... I also need to use named capture groups in the autoReplaceStringTemplate. As the field is called template my expectation was that it would be possible to use the named capture groups as e. g. in depNameTemplate. But looks like these two fields are behaving differently...

I understand you want to "align" the version of OpenSearch.

Let's assume you want to keep OpenSearch on 2.15.0 for now. This means that a next upgrade might be to e.g. https://github.com/fbaligand/kibana-enhanced-table/releases/download/v1.14.1/enhanced-table-1.14.1_osd-2.15.0.zip

The problem is, you can't know if 0.14.1 supports OpenSearch 2.15.0 or not, right?

Second problem is, one da you want to update to OpenSearch 2.16.0. What then?
