Feature description

similar to Windows terminal quake mode on Windows and Guake on Linux, the quake mode can be emulated by:

  1. launch a waveterm process with no active
  2. upon detecting a global hot-key, open a new session with window at a fixed location

Upvote. Personally for me it is nearly impossible to work with window-terminal, and always using Ctrl+` for quick dropdown access (iTerm2). But there is probably a whole roadmap for that to configure sidebar/header icons (which is not important for me).
Came from HackTheBox, Wave is under focus there for tuning for everyday work. Module 'Setting Up', 'The Terminal Emulator' section.
