@choeoliv, @Crazor, @yennster, since you showed interest in Apple Silicon binaries, could you confirm that the OpenOCD binaries run properly on your systems?

The Mac Mini M1 I use for the builds is located in the MacStadium's data centre in Las Vegas and I cannot use it for tests that require external devices.

Sorry for taking so long to get back to this.

Seems to work just fine on my M1Pro macbook 2021. Ran a hello world application as well as a small program that prints accelerometer data through semihosting. I can step through code, set break points, and do the usual. No issues with speed. I didn't find any crashes in my small bit of when testing.

Was going to verify that exceptions work but the code I wrote for it seems to be hard faulting.

I hope this is enough information for you. If there is anything in particular you'd like me to test out, just post here. I'll try to get to it when I have time.
