this just runs bash
, and not wbinfo
?

yes, basic auth tested initially w/o wbinfo. I've updated this section with explanation.

If the winbind service is failing, you need to investigate the cause and restart it. If winbind still can’t authenticate users, it may be an AD connection issue or a configuration problem. | ||

on the RFADIUS server, but the Samba net
tool has to be installed:

added a note re: install the sambanet
tool to test/troubleshoot network connections.
