Context

Card sorting is a user research method where participants group labeled cards (representing content or concepts) into categories, revealing how users mentally organize information and inform the design of intuitive information architecture.

@pdematos12 recommended using a Open Sort to help the team determine an optimal structure for the new patterns catalogue.

  • Gather a selection of about 30 patterns across the spectrum that we cover. We should also include some potential future patterns of areas you want to expand into e.g. UX so that we future proof.
