Is there a way to keep downloaded podcast episodes after they have been played?

Just wondering if there is a way to keep downloaded podcast episodes after they have been played instead of automatically deleting them?

The default operation of ABS is to not delete any files, unless you have set "max episodes to keep" in the podcast settings.

The default view of podcasts is to filter showing only "Not finished" episodes. You can change the filter to view all episodes in both the web client and the mobile apps.

is there a way to keep specific episodes beyond that? Let's say I want to keep 3 episodes, but this one is good so it's an exception?

Yeah its in the schedule tab in the podcast settings (click the pencil button on the podcast).

EDIT: Just realised i misunderstood you, so I'm wrong. You mean like favouriting one or flagging one to keep? I think the only way is to make sure it isnt marked as played...

meant flagging one to make sure it's not deleted even tho the normal use is to keep only three.... keeping three would mean the last 3

There is not a way to favorite old episodes and keep them if you have the podcast configured to only keep the last N podcasts. Listen state is not taken into account.
