erica-scarpa/README.md

Hey, I’m Erica, an assyriologist, historian, and digital humanist with expertise in cuneiform sources—especially those from the Royal Archives of Ebla (Syria).

I dive deep into social history and prosopography, using cutting-edge digital methods to bring ancient texts and societies back to life. My research employs advanced digital methodologies such as data mining, visualization, and social network analysis to unlock the past in new ways, making history more interactive and insightful.

I work with Semantic Web technologies, pushing for better interoperability standards and advocating for the power of Linked Open Data (LOD) and FAIR principles in research.

Find me on GitHub, GitLab, or my ORCID.
