I think it is crucial feature to allow HTML inside option tag. Currently I had to modify the original code to make it happen.

I just released SelectBoxIt v3.3.0 and HTML within options is now supported. Check out the example: http://gregfranko.com/jquery.selectBoxIt.js/#HTMLOptionSupport
