Product Add to Cart issue in Rest API

Preconditions and environment

• Magento version: 2.4.8-p1
• Multi website setup with MSI

Steps to reproduce

1. Create Product and assigned it to any 1 website and multiple sources
2. Create empty cart using rest API in website where above product is not assined
3. Add above product in cart using rest API
4. Place order using rest API

Expected result

It should be throw "Product that you are trying to add is not available." error.

Actual result

Able to add to cart product and place order even if it's not assigned to specific website.

Additional information

Graphql add to cart mutation is throwing error so, only rest API have issue.

We have tried to reproduce the issue in Latest 2.4-develop instance and we are not able to reproduce the issue.Kindly refer the screenshots.

It is throwing "Product that you are trying to add is not available." error.

Kindly recheck the issue in Latest 2.4-develop instance and elaborate the steps to reproduce if the issue is still reproducible.

I am able to reproduce issue in Latest 2.4-develop instance. Which source is linked with your English store?

Please find exact details to reproduce this issue,

• Create 2 website (A and B) and both website have 1 store/store view.
• Create 2 source (X and Y) and 2 stock (P and Q).
• Link source X with stock P and source Y with stock Q.
• Link stock P with website A and stock Q with website B.
• Create new product and assigned it to website A and source X & Y.
• Try to add to cart from default store of website B.
