Steps to reproduce

1. Run 4.0.2 Release build
2. Reset factory
3. Add any palette to Palettes panel
4. Close 4.0.2
5. Install 4.1 (release mode build)
6. Open Guitar palette

I implemented a while ago some compatibility code for palette elements, perhaps it can be useful https://github.com/musescore/MuseScore/blob/master/src/palette/internal/palettecompat.cpp (though mine was about exchanging old with new items).
