PR checklist

  • Read the contribution guidelines.
  • Ran the shell script under ./bin/ to update Petstore sample so that CIs can verify the change. (For instance, only need to run ./bin/{LANG}-petstore.sh and ./bin/security/{LANG}-petstore.sh if updating the {LANG} (e.g. php, ruby, python, etc) code generator or {LANG} client's mustache templates). Windows batch files can be found in .\bin\windows\.
  • Filed the PR against the correct branch: 3.0.0 branch for changes related to OpenAPI spec 3.0. Default: master.
  • Copied the technical committee to review the pull request if your PR is targeting a particular programming language.

hey @anand188
I just tested PR with this command:

java -jar target\swagger-codegen-cli.jar generate -l java -i http://petstore.swagger.io/v2/swagger.json -o C:\Tempo\output -t C:\Tempo\templates\java

and it's getting this error:

Caused by: java.io.FileNotFoundException: C:\Tempo\templates\java/HttpBasicAuth.mustache
        at com.github.jknack.handlebars.io.URLTemplateLoader.sourceAt(URLTemplateLoader.java:70)
        at com.github.jknack.handlebars.Handlebars.compile(Handlebars.java:357)
        at com.github.jknack.handlebars.Handlebars.compile(Handlebars.java:343)
        at io.swagger.codegen.DefaultGenerator.getHandlebars(DefaultGenerator.java:1029)
        at io.swagger.codegen.DefaultGenerator.generateSupportingFiles(DefaultGenerator.java:581)

This HttpBasicAuth.mustache is located in a subfolder inside the templates localtion.

@HugoMario thats a bit tricky because auth its different folder in template i think you need to put all mustache in the local folder C:\Tempo\templates\java

@HugoMario only one template file which is given in local should be taken and remaining it should take from its classpath but thats no the case in code

hey @anand188 , sorry for delay response. It was tested on Windows, i don't think it's a good idea putting all templates on same folder. The sample used is taken from one of the templates used in codegen project.
