Is it legal to use "present" as date ?

I know that the year of first publication cannot be present, but I have not found concrete information about its use as an end date, although I have seen it elsewhere. I suppose changing it to 2025 is the safest option (it's just that we keep forgetting to update it as you can see from the diff).
