My understanding is that this was a joke by zeromus to break in the then-new issue tracker on Google Code. (And I love it dearly, especially the title which I sometimes reference in passing.) But still, I've given it labels etc. as though it were a genuine request for a PSX core, one which was soon fulfilled with the porting of Octoshock from Mednafen.
The backlinks from other issues are all almost certainly accidental: people using #1 in a list either in prose or, infuriatingly enough, from .NET crash reports, or also as genuine issue links but for forks. This issue is of course perfect and warrants no further discussion.
What follows are the contents of the Google Code ticket as we received them almost a decade ago now. (Except the image, which was linked rather than attached directly—that's sadly rotted. If you have an archive or even just a vague memory of what it was, I'd love to know.)
But wherever and wherever you're reading this now, I'm thankful you still have it.
