Currently “freeze” translated is as “凍結”.
Are there any other translation ideas for “deep freeze” other than “ディープフリーズ”?
I think there are several options for translating those words.
- "凍結" and "ディープフリーズ" (as is)
- "凍結" and "some word which kanji-based “deepfreeze”" (both kanji)
- "フリーズ" and "ディープフリーズ" (both katakana)
- "freeze" and "deep freeze" (both as is english)

Personally, I feel that using "フリーズ" and "ディープフリーズ" is the best option.
Since "ディープフリーズ" is easier to understand when left as-is, I think we should update "凍結" to "フリーズ" for consistency.
