This bumps some outdated dependencies and adds CI for the existing test (sic).
The test is currently failing which is consistent with #27,
#5 and #33 contain similar error messages as the current test produces (at least on my system)
despite the failing test i m able to use the view-panel … babysteps, lets add the tests to ci, to make it easier for folks to work on a fix
